The Brickfield mod team is back today with their latest update showing off some more in game images. Check it out below:

As mentioned via the recent www.BF-Games.net post, there are some news regarding our project. Many of you are still awaiting a Brickfield release, though we can only feed hopes with some new screenshots. Sad to say, but progress isn't as fast as we'd like it to be, so that's why you had to wait somewhat longer this time around.



A short statement on the current situation at brickfield can be viewed at the forums (german) however.



Yet again, there have been several changes to the HUD as well as new statics been added to fill up the room some more. A very big THANKS! goes out to the BSS-Community, which gave us their hand again at creating static models.

There is a new media update posted today over on the First Strike mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Hello again, last week we had for you the flamethrower, but this week things are going to get a little bit colder. Yes, that's right, we've got another update for the map I know you've all been waiting for, Hoth.



Today on Hoth, we'll again be looking at the Echo Base command center. What we have to show you are some terrific assets, modeled and textured by JayBiggs. You'll also get an idea of what the lighting/walls/floor might look like in this part of the base (the non-ice portion of it at least).



Second, we're going to look away from Hoth again (sorry to disappoint), and heat things up with a little side project that RedMonkey and Rybot have been working on that has finally been completed and I think it opens a lot of interesting doors for this mod. It's the T-16 Skyhopper, the ideal ride for any desert farmboy waiting to blosom into a hotshot star pilot. I can't tell you exactly how it will be utilized yet, but regardless, I think you'll enjoy the work they've put in here.

The BattleGroup-Frontlines mod team has posted a new update today to let us know that they have delayed their next release. Take a look:

Hello and welcome back to our newest Battlegroup Frontlines update. Today we are sorry to announce that our patch 1.1 has to be delayed, because of one main reason. Our coder in chief koricus is very taken with his job and cannot continue to work on the code right now.



But where there is a bad news there must always be a good news! Pacman, who originally only coded bot support for BGF helped out and worked on the unfinished code. It is not yet completed and there are still some things to do, but we are happy to tell you that we will release an OPEN BETA 1.05 Patch very soon! This patch will feature many new things, such as new maps including botsupport or new german voices, but it also features a lot of gameplay changes with faster tanks and faster soldiers, for example.



We plan to release the patch very soon. Our next news might already be the release of 1.05!

Clanmod.bf2, a competition mod for Battlefield 2, has just been released. Check out the differences between Vanilla Battlefield 2 and the mod:

*CL 3 Nades in all kits

*CL Better spread on all main weapons except sniper

*C Movement configs from patch 1.2

*CL Flag By Flag mode has added, able to turn on and off with !fbf on and !fbf off in chat

*CL Ready up mode has been added, Write !ready in chat to make yourself ready and a icon in the scoreboard will indicate it.

Type !unready to unready.

*CL Authenciation settings has been added, go to mods/clanmod/clanmod.ini or mods/clanmodlight/clanmod.ini to change settings.

To authenciate for !fbf commands, write "rcon cmauth " in the console. (Not needed to be logged into RCon)

*C Stamina has been increased so you can sprint longer.



CL = Exists in Clanmod.bf2 and Clanmod.bf2 Light.

C = Exists only in Clanmod.bf2.

This is awarded to the few and proud that can record 10,002 kills in online play. This has proven a difficult challenge as less than 1,500 people have achieved this among Xbox 360 players.



The soldier class that is most popular is the Assault class, the all-around balanced class capable of self-healing, equipped to the gills with weaponry and a great kit for beginners. It’s no surprise that this is the kit of choice, but the amount of damage done by this soldier class is amazing with over 10M frags dealt by the hands of an Assault soldier.
